Project Manager (Construction / Power / Renewable Energy) - South America

• Lead the Project in the preparation phase (review of all documents, procurement of equipment, selection of sub-contractors, etc.).
  
• Deliver the project within the defined time line and budget, from construction to commissioning and operation.
  
• Make sure the project is delivered within the highest HSE standards and compliance to local and international environmental rules and regulations, taking into account the impact on local communities.
  
• Assume full responsibility for all Project controls processes: cost controls, contract management and scheduling
  
• Lead the project team members (engineering, procurement, construction teams, contract management, HSE) and liaise with external partners and stakeholders  (finance, asset management, etc)
  
• Effectively communicate with all project stakeholders on the project progress and provide guidance to avoid potential risk and delay
  
• Provide a smooth interface with the Client at project level
  
• Make sure that development and finance teams are regularly updated to identify any potential risk within their respective area of concern
  

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, etc.); PMP qualification is considered as asset.
  
• Minimum 10 years' experience in execution of EPC projects (dam, hydro-power, etc.)
  
• Minimum 10 years project management experience with medium and large size projects 
  
• Strong knowledge in Project Controls and planning software
  
• Experience with construction and procurement in remote locations
  
• Excellent communication skills in English; a good level of French and/or Portuguese is a strong asset
